London Church Pentecost Sunday: I Will Pour Out My Spirit on All People

On June 8, 2025, London Immanuel Church offered a Pentecost Sunday service and Pastor Jason delivered the message taken from Acts 2:1-21 “I will pour out my spirit on all people”.

Pentecost, known as the day of the coming of the Holy Spirit, marks one of the two great kairos moments in redemptive history—the coming of Jesus Christ on earth and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

In Acts 2, the Holy Spirit came to all people, not only to special ones. This was the start of a big spiritual reset for all people, like a new beginning. The Spirit came like wind and fire, and people could see and hear it.

Importantly, the Spirit was given to “all flesh”—to sons and daughters, young and old, men and women, even to slaves (Acts 2:17–18). This radical inclusiveness emphasized God’s intention to restore dignity and calling to all people, removing every barrier of gender, status, or background.

The message concluded with an encouragement to seek the Holy Spirit, who empowers us to live as new creations, to overcome sin, and to proclaim the gospel to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). The Pentecost event was a historic, public, and transformative act of God—a call to bold witness, holy living, and deep unity in Christ.

“And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Acts 2:21)
